Lukoil Academic close to sign Brandon Heath

The Bulgarian Champion Lukoil Academic continues selecting good players for the Eurocup qualification round games against Aris. The new player in the team roster is going to be the American guard Brandon Heath. After the contract with Kaspars Kambala a few days ago, Lukoil gets another high-class player. Heath is the eight new player on the team and there are 3 more Americans in the roster.
Heath spent the last season in Apoel Nikosia and won the first place in the Cyprus domestic championship. The guard made a spectacular season and became the third best scorer in the league with 255 points and fifth in assists with 55 for the season. The American is the best player in the Cyprus championship in the Eurobasket.com classification. Heath played in 11 games from EuroChallenge and registered 12.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
This summer Brandon Heath for the New Jersey Nets in the NBA Summer League in Orlando. Before that he competed for Seattle Supersonics, LA Clippers and LA Lakers, but never signed a contract with any of those teams. In his career he also played for Antante Orleans and LA Fenders in the NBA D-League. In the next few days it will be sure if the player will sign with the Bulgarian champion and there’s a big possibility the transfer to become a fact.
