Bodiroga announced his retirement

One of the best European players in the last decade Dejan Bodiroga announced that he will end his carreer at age of 34.
The Serbian star played his last game with Lottomatica Roma against Montepaschi Siena in Italian playoffs and after the Rome side went out so the career of Bodiroga ended in front of 11 000 spectators.
After almost 15 year career as a player Bodiroga will most probably take the position of Sports Director in Lottomatica.
"I have to say thanks but I cannot explain what I'm feeling right now. I lived 15 years of happiness that mean a lot to me because I was doing the thing I love most. Now I'm happy of what I've achieved and have a clear plan for the future" says Bodiroga.
Bodiroga who was born in March 2nd, 1973 is 4-time European Club Champion with 3 different teams - Real Madrid, Panathinaikos and Barcelona and with Yugoslavian National team has won 3 European titles (1995, 1997 and 2001) and 2 World Championships (1998 and 2002)
