Levski Sofia to sign Macedonian Todor Gecevski
Macedonian national team forward/center Todor Gecevski has an agreement with Bulgarian club Levski Sofia and they will sign a contract for the new season. Although Gecevski fractured his left arm at EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania and will miss the start of the new season, the club will stay true to its word and will go ahead with the deal. The sides agreed a while ago and now Levski coach Titi Papazov confirmed it for the local media after the team′s most recent friendly game. Gecevski is expected to join the team as soon as his arm heals.
This is the biggest name arriving at Levski for the new season. The 210-cm player will help the team with his rebounding and scoring skills. He will probably start practicing with his new teammates around the second week of October. Previous teams he has played for include PAOK in Greece and KK Zadar in Croatia.
