Levski Sofia signed three new players
Levski Sofia is gathering a strong-looking squad for the new season in women′s NBL. The Blues will feature some players from last season′s roster and they already have three new signings too. Petya Djambazka (178-F-77) re-signed with the club and the others that will stay in the team are Tonka Tencheva (182-F-89), Maria Svetoslavova (178-F-93) and Dilyana Shumarova (191-C-90). The club is negotiating with Radoslava Bachvarova (183-F-87, agency: LBM Management, college: VCU), who will re-sign with Levski if she doesnt find herself a team abroad.
Until now The Blues signed veteran Agnesa Doychinova (188-F-73) and the young talents Viktoria Stoycheva (172-G-92) and Hristina Ivanova (183-F-89). Doychinova arrives from Montana 2003 where she averaged 16.5 poins and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Ivanova, who played in Spain for the last few seasons, comes back to her youth club Levski. She arrives from CD Irlandesas Leioa, where she had 8.4 ppg and 2.5 rpg in the Spanish second division. She will replace Radostina Dimitrova (185-F-85) on the roster, as the latter is moving to Spain for the upcoming season.
Stoycheva is one of the most talanted Bulgarian point guards. She was among the best players in A group last season as she had 22.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 3.5 apg for Tony 7 Sliven. She also played several games on loan at Beroe 07 Stara Zagora in the elite NBL.
